Sacro’s Voluntary Support Service provides advice, guidance and assistance to people who present a high-risk of offending.
The Voluntary Support Service provides a wide range of advice, support and guidance to persons who are at risk of offending, and their families.
The service is also part of a network which provides a range of support for those who may be at risk of re-offending.
This area of work includes voluntary contact with offenders who do not have statutory contact in the community and who do not come within the criteria for the voluntary assistance service. This type of offender is often isolated within the community and the relationship with Sacro provides access to advice, guidance and support and allows the opportunity for the risk assessment process and the flow of information to continue.
The service provides advice, guidance and assistance to persons aged 16 years or over and their families. The person will have offended or be at risk of offending and is neither subject to statutory supervision nor eligible to seek voluntary assistance.
The service is entirely voluntary and can be requested directly by the offender or any other person.
