Project Worker, Benefit Take Up Fund - Kilmarnock*

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and proactive individual to develop and deliver benefits maximisation training to staff across Sacro services in Scotland. The post holder will support staff to have the skills to maximise service user benefit entitlement. This post is funded from the Scottish Governments Benefit Take-Up Strategy to upskill staff and volunteers.

The post holder will be responsible for designing and delivering training in the new Scottish Benefit system and will have knowledge of non-devolved benefits. Delivery will be through a variety of mediums including digital, e learning, webinar and face to face contact.

The post holder will have skills and experience of designing, delivering and producing training materials in line with this. The successful candidate should also be skilled in recording, monitoring and report writing to support project evaluation to the Scottish Government. The ability to develop relevant partnerships and work in conjunction with both statutory and voluntary partners will be necessary.

The post holder should be educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent and hold a recognised training qualification.

The post will require travel across all Sacro areas in Scotland and may require and overnight stay. Evening and weekend work may also be required.
