Intensive Support Service
Sacro’s Intensive Support Service focuses on maximising outcomes for Supported People including promoting independence and reducing over-support.
What does this service offer?
The aim of this service is to provide housing and independent support to Supported People who have a significant reputation to challenge services and/or who may be at risk of offending or causing harm to themselves or others.
How does this service work?
The focus of the service is on quality, efficiency and control, getting tailored services defined by supported person (or their advocates), at the right time and in the right places. The Intensive Support Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 day a year.
Who is the service aimed at?
The service is aimed at Supported People of adult age both male and female within the Aberdeen area. The service will help Supported People with significant challenging behaviours, offending risks and complex multiple disabilities.
How is this service accessed?
Care Managers are able to refer Supported People to Sacro’s services. Supported People referred to the service are individuals who have met eligibility criteria for Learning Disability Services in Aberdeen.
