Sacro’s Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire Community Mediation, the neighbour dispute resolution service, has chosen the winners of its “Good Neighbour” award for 2015.

Mr and Mrs Garry McNulty from Northfield, Aberdeen and Mr Frank Caie of Cammachmore, Stonehaven were selected from those nominated for the award

The winners were awarded a meal for two supplied by The Brentwood Hotel Crown Street Aberdeen.

Sacro's innovative diversionary scheme operating in Ayrshire has been recognised at a recent national awards ceremony in London.

The 'Early and Effective Intervention Whole Systems Approach for Women' mirrors services already in place to tackle young people involved in offending. This service aims to divert women aged over 18 from prosecution and to reduce re-offending.

The Another Way team at the Care Accolades ceremony

On 10 June 2014 Sacro’s ‘Another Way’ service was awarded a Care Accolade in the category of ‘innovation and redesign’ by the Scottish Social Service Council. Brittany Stewart, volunteer mentor and Jane, service user, had the opportunity to be involved in the experience.
