More paedophiles should be treated; not jailed

Speaking in today’s Times, Sacro Chief Executive, Tom Halpin advocates more access to support for men caught viewing images of child sex abuse online.

In line with recent comments from specialists in England, Mr Halpin says more must be done to identify, challenge and offer treatment to those who view online child abuse but have not yet approached a child, in order to allow better targeting of resources on those more dangerous abusers who pose a direct and significant threat to children.
