Edinburgh Volunteer Recruitment Event

19th February 2019 - 3:00pm to 7:00pm

29 Albany Street

Tuesday 19 February 2019: 3 - 7pm

Sacro volunteers provide support to people affected by – and responsible for harm. We help people with reintegration into the community after involvement with the criminal justice system and support those affected by offending.

Come along and meet staff and volunteers from our Edinburgh Services to discuss available opportunities and find out about the rewards and benefits of volunteering.

To enable us to progress your application on the day, please bring three forms of ID. One of these should be photographic eg. passport, driving licence and proof of address. Assistance with paperwork will be provided on the day.

We are very interested in attracting volunteers with lived experience of the criminal justice system. It is particularly beneficial for those who use our services to work with people who have empathy with and understanding of the issues that arise through engaging with Scotland’s criminal justice system.

“I joined Sacro as a volunteer to get hands-on experience after studying Criminology at University. I find the service very rewarding as you can see first-hand the changes you are making in the person’s life.”
Volunteer, Women’s Mentoring Service.

You can drop in any time between 3 and 7pm but please register first at: https://sacroedinburghvolunteers.eventbrite.co.uk
