Sacro’s works within Scotland’s communities to provide support to people leaving custody – or at risk of custody. Community-based solutions are increasingly recognised as effective, credible alternatives to custody with a much higher rate of success in reducing reoffending. Sacro’s Justice services are designed to help people live safely in their communities with sufficient support to address their individual needs and reduce or eliminate the risk of reoffending.
Jason was referred to the Sacro AYE team following a breach of the peace. At the point of referral, he was experiencing problematic use of prescription medication, alcohol and cannabis, alongside poor mental health.
