Ensuring the safety of the people we work with and the wider public is a key element of Sacro’s work. We provide support and safety for people at risk of abuse, violence and coercion within the home.
Our Public Protection services also provide monitoring and support to manage the risk of further offending by people who are assessed as posing a risk within the community.
Anisa self-referred to Aura when she was in a very abusive and controlling relationship with her husband.

Aura provides gender-informed support for anyone affected by domestic abuse in North Lanarkshire regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic/religious background. Aura recognises that everyone’s experience is different and support is tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
The Caledonian Work Programme is an integrated approach to address domestic abuse by men towards a female partner or ex-partner. The Programme works with men convicted of domestic abuse-related offences to reduce their reoffending and improve the lives of women, children and the men. Sacro provides support through the Women’s and Children’s Services in partnership with Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils.
Sacro’s National Intensive Support Packages provide monitoring and support to manage the risk of further offending by people who are assessed as posing a risk within the community.
